jaxers This is hands down one of my favorite records of late. I've got it in heavy rotation and got the vinyl as soon as i did a listen-through. Almost all the material here is strong - heavy like sand, not oil, fuzzy as a sandstorm with swirling deep grooves. And as another reviewer pointed out, it's hard to pick a favorite. I'm reaaaallly bummed that I missed these guys when they came to California last year (that said it was deep pandemic times anyway). I hope they'll be back. Favorite track: Rainbird.

With all respect due to Nick DiSalvo, who is incredibly talented, the proggy vocals are not what I love the most with Elder. What I love the most, I'll admit, is the incredible synthy, krauty goodness, from the track Sonntag on the previous album to the wonderful delving LP Hirschbrunnen. I think these instrumental Sessions were a major step in that direction, and I love them dearly for it. Coraxio
