Doom King Hands down the best compilation I have come across, ever. Well done Weedian! NYP, just buy it already! I came for Mephistofeles and left with more you than I can pay for. 13 of these songs blew me away, 5 of these are stellar and so they deserve mention.Domkraft: Best psych...P.O.C: Most Yob and CHRCH like...Begotten: M.W.W.B meets E.W...Bees: EPIC as @#$! What a monster track! Warlung: Beyond brilliant songwriting! Vocally WOW! Honorable mentions: F.T.V, Potion and Saint Karloff. Buy it! Favorite track: Grandmother.

"Weedian was started because I love music and most especially underground music. I wanted a way to be able to find and share cool bands with people who had the same taste in music that I do.

"So after a lot of thinking and some talking, I’ve decided to make a compilation of songs from some of my favorite bands, and Blues Funeral Recordings was cool enough to partner up with me to help bring it to you.

"This will be the first volume in the Weedian comp series. I chose these bands because these are who I’ve been digging a lot lately. Although it’s pretty heavily tilted towards doom, there are some stoner and other styles of bands in there. I hope that you enjoy the music and the sick artwork by Brouemaster who has been churning out some incredible stuff lately."

Nearly all of these tracks have been released in some form previously, but they've been selected and assembled to create a cohesive listening and discovery experience.

Compilations like Burn One Up, Rise 13, Stone(d) Revolution and Welcome to MeteorCity were about finding new bands, making sonic connections, and rocking the fuck out, that's what WEEDIAN Volume 1 is meant to do. We hope you'll dig it from end to end just as it was envisioned.
